Audit

A fixed-scope diagnostic of how the operation actually runs, against how it is believed to run. Findings, priorities and a plan, in writing, that you can act on with or without us.

Who it is for

  • An owner-managed business where the owner is still the operating system.
  • A hotel, resort or rental portfolio where the general manager is holding it together.
  • A business that has grown past the point where everyone knows everything.
  • An operation about to change: a new site, a new manager, a new system, a sale or a succession.

What happens

  1. Week 1 · Discovery

Interviews with the owner or general manager, the managers and the people doing the work. We follow the work through a normal week, on site where it matters.

  2. Week 2 · Diagnose

Workflow mapping, control weaknesses, reporting gaps, dependence on single people, technology readiness. Symptoms separated from causes.

  3. Week 3 · Report

Findings, priorities and a roadmap presented in person, with the quick wins marked. Then the written report.

What you get

  • 01A map of how the operation runs today, as observed, not as described.
  • 02The constraints ranked by business impact, with the evidence behind each one.
  • 03Quick wins you can apply the same week, without us.
  • 04A prioritised improvement roadmap: what to fix, in what order, and what it would take.
  • 05A written statement of what a Sprint or a Retainer would cover, if either is warranted. No obligation.

What it is not

  • Not a deck of best practices. Every finding comes from your operation.
  • Not an implementation. The Audit says what and why; the Sprint implements it.
  • Not a software selection. Technology readiness is assessed; tools are chosen only once the process works.

Fee and next step

Fixed fee, quoted in writing before we start, after a short call about your operation. Travel within the Algarve included; elsewhere at cost.

[PLACEHOLDER: Audit fee band]

After the Audit Most audits lead to one of two things: a Sprint on the constraint that matters most, or nothing, because the plan is clear enough to run yourselves. Both are good outcomes.

Request a proposal

Tell us where the operation gets stuck. We reply with a written proposal and a fixed fee before anything starts.

02 / Time-boxed

Sprint

Implement one operational system and make it stick: SOPs, a reporting cadence, staff trained on it, and automation where it earns its place.

4–8 weeks · fixed fee
03 / Ongoing

Fractional Retainer

A part-time Head of Operations. Cadence, accountability, decisions taken, systems maintained.

Monthly · six-month minimum
